Dating

I've been divorced since 2009 and I remember when I was married I thought dating would be so easy because we have the internet now and the awkward days of walking up to a stranger and having a 50/50 chance of getting turned down were through, now we could learn all about someone ahead of time, send out a simple wave, and start the ball rolling.  Seems like when we were kids as soon as you went on 1 date you were in a relationship lol

Well I quickly found out it's much more complicated than that and online dating has been a way bigger challenge than I ever thought.  I would be so happy to just meet someone who I could get together with on a weekend to go see a great movie, we could go out before or after and laugh, share a good cup of coffee, and consider whether we are compatible or not.

Hopefully someone here will be interested, I'm at a place now where I'm fine being alone if that's what I will be for the rest of my life.  I'd enjoy meeting that special someone, they say when you least expect it you will find, but if not I'm happy with my life.  I have a great job, a nice car, a couple friends and I'm thankful for what I have.
